We were lucky enough to be invited to attend the Vida Kids PR Spring/Summer 2016 Press Day a couple of days ago and as they represent some brands we both love, we couldn’t wait to see what was on offer for next year. We thought we would share with you some of our favourite pieces from the collections to give you a sneak peak at what yours, and our minis may be wearing when the sun arrives in 2016.
The brands we saw all seem to be featuring ice cream shades for Spring/Summer 2016 somewhere in their collections, if not throughout. They make them a perfect pairing for the kids’ summer escapades.
Gardner and The Gang
Known for their bold cartoon style animal prints and bright, fun colours, Gardner and The Gang yet again delivers on the imaginative and quirky when it comes to what will be seen on their Spring/Summer 2016 pieces.
Soft Gallery
Both Katie and Georgie have items from this brand for their minis already and next years collection does not fail to impress. Known for their soft colour ways and easy to wear designs, there will be at least one piece (but probably more) you will fall in love with.
Mainio
We have featured Mainio a couple of times, one showcasing this seasons’ romper onesies which look so adorable on little ones and the other featuring both the children’s and adults’ Autumn/Winter 2015 range. Next season sees more of their incredibly soft cotton printed with bold prints in monochrome and bright pastels to mix and match.
Someday Soon
We have done an introduction piece on this boyswear brand. Georgie is a huge fan and Harry has quite a few pieces. We love the soft green and dreamy abstract prints they have introduced into the range for next year – Katie could even see it working for Harriet. Georgie immediately spotted the gold jacket and hopes the biggest size may fit her when it comes out!
Raspberry Plum
We first saw this new label at Bubble London and loved the quality. For next season they have used the soft colours associated with summer to create simple yet fun pieces. We hope to do a spotlight post on them soon.
The venue for the press day was the gorgeous Ham Yard Hotel in Soho, so being the snap happy ladies that we are, we couldn’t resist taking a few pictures in the basement bar…definitely a venue for a future night out!
