“Can we make it now Mummy, please?” is the first thing Harry asks me when his Toucan Box arrives in the post. Toucan Box is a company who deliver different options of parcels containing all the materials required for your mini to create something which they can be proud of. It is designed to make crafts for kids as easy and accessible as possible. We have the Petit box delivered every fortnight which contains usually one but on occasions, two different activities for Harry to enjoy making. I chose the Petit box as the other options are only delivered monthly and I thought part of the enjoyment would be for Harry to receive a parcel in the post and fortnightly means less time for Harry to wait between his Toucan Boxes!
I have never had to supplement the box with materials – if glue is required, the kit comes with glue, if a paintbrush is required, one is included. It seems very well thought out. As well as the materials, easy to follow instructions are included along with a card detailing the educational value behind the activity and suggestions for further activities.
Harry is always so proud of what he make. In the box featured, he made flying firework rockets which he enjoyed showing off to his Daddy when he arrived home from work.
The Toucan Box has been such a success with Harry, I signed up my goddaughter as a Christmas present. A unique and fun gift for your mini or someone else’s special little person.
