We both love a denim jacket as a Summer wardrobe staple for those chillier days and nights – but an alternative which has found its way into our wardrobes and set up home comfortably is the Khaki Summer Parka or Utility Jacket. It reminds of days gone by when we picked up our military jackets from the old army surplus stores. Did anyone else have one in the 90’s?!
They are such an easy piece to throw on over a strappy top in the warmer months and as the days start to get chiller and we head into Autumn they are great to layer up with a jumper underneath. We would recommend going for a size larger if you plan on doing this.
Khaki goes with so much – black, white, grey and burgundy (which will be a big colour this AW15).
