We love a bag. And what better excuse to bag shop, than when the sun comes out and we start to plan holidays away, staycations or simply a fancy picnic. These beach bags are all great for family essentials at the beach or simply to make a Summer outfit a little softer. So put your leather away until the Autumn ladies. Straw Classic Styles

A classic. If you are a regular reader you will already know that we love a classic French market bag (see our Summer Beauty and Skincare Essentials post). Tea and Kate always sell great ones and this Summer is no different. The silver stripe makes the classic a little more glitzy (£38.00) or the natural weave is simple and sophisticated (£28.00). You’re spoilt for choice whichever you go for.
- Head to Original Marrakech for a classic panier straw bag with a difference. For 44,90 Euros you can personalise your own beach bag – choose your wording and the colour of the thread from some great choices. We love the fuschia. If you can understand some basic French, it should be easy enough to navigate.
- Why not monogram your own beach bag with your initials? These palm straw baskets from are feather have taken off everywhere recently and we can see why. With so many colour choices we struggled to decide which to show you here (the full bag is in light grey and white and the close up is in dark pink and dark grey). Jute and Cotton Styles
- We love this make and even featured it in our Summer Woven Clutch Edit last week. The fun and colourful jute from Star Mela could be for you £69.00. There’s low stock at Asos, so don’t hang around if you do like it.
- And what about this neon pop of colour? A bold straw tote that means you’ll be spotted a mile off on the beach. The Primal beach bag is top of our list £105.00.
- Not one that will fit the whole families kit in as it’s a bit smaller than the others, but a nice bag just for mum. This striped jute bag from Mango £19.99 (in the sale). Simple and classic.
- There’s nothing like a bit of shimmer for the Summertime and we love this straw silver bag from Oasis. With gorgeous rope handles, it is large enough to fit plenty of beach essentials inside and such a good price at £22.00.
- Another one from Mango, but we couldn’t leave it off the list. Large, boho, embroidered, gorgeous colours, leather handles and best of all it’s reversible. We love this. And it’s in the sale at £34.99.
- This Black and white cotton stripe bag from Next is really versatile, with a choice of either long or short handles £28.00 (also available in pink stripe).
