Spring/Summer 2015 denim top picks…

Denim has never gone away but Spring/Summer 2015 seems to be awash with denim in all forms. Here are our top picks of what is out there and we feel there is something for everyone.

Spring/Summer 2015 denim trend

1. Kick flare jeans Marks & Spencer – such a good price and this style is so flattering making legs look long and lean. Best worn with a heel. I (Georgie) saw them in store and they are so similar to my J Brands I bought a few years ago at a fraction of the price – a definite must-have!

2. Shirt dress Hush – we love the relaxed style of this shirt dress combining two trends of the Spring/Summer 2015 season. Hush is one of our go-to labels and we always find items to tempt us so its not surprising this one is on our shopping list.

3. Oversized denim shirt Topshop – this is a versatile shirt which can be worn as a shirt or light weight jacket as pictured. We both bought denim shirts last season and have worn with black skinny trousers but have yet to try the double denim look which denim shirts allow for – maybe Spring/Summer is the season to try!

4. Boyfriend jeans Baukjen – these jeans can be dressed up with heels or down with trainers or ankle boots depending on your mood/occasion. We have both found we need to wear belts with the boyfriend style just to keep them fitted at the waist. They have been going a few years now and if you haven’t tried a pair, you’ll find plenty out there to tempt you.

5. Bootcut/flare jeans Zara – get into the 70’s Spring/Summer trend as well as the denim one with these jeans from Zara

6. Denim shorts Hush – these are slightly longer than some of the very short shorts out there so a safer option to try as a mum always bending down and on the move with worn detailing these will surely be a big hit.

Have you seen any denim must-haves out there we have missed?
