The By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow sticks have been around for a while now – years in fact. Georgie bought a couple when they first came out as easily transportable eyeshadows to apply in a hurry when she arrived at the office when she was a commuter. She loved them then and still loves them now. They are perfect for makeup on the go, so as a fully fledged full-time mum they are ideal for when you have to get out of the house in a hurry.

They come in a variety of colours and below are a selection of those available. Once they have been applied they can be blended easily and look great when you use two different shades together. The colour really does last all day. Perfect for taking on holiday or to simply add a finishing touch to your make-up before rushing out of the door.

Georgie uses the paler colours all over the eyelid and the darker shades in the socket and as a liner – they are brilliant multitaskers and if you’re in a rush it means you don’t have to rummage around your make-up bag for numerous products.

In this photo Georgie wears Frozen Quartz on her eyelid and Misty Rock blended into the crease and along the lash line.

They have been repeat purchases which, for someone who LOVES makeup and trying out new products is a big deal. The colours next on our list to try are Brown Perfection and Ombre Mercure. They are available at Space NK.

Do you have make-up favourites you keep going back to?
