We have featured Tiba + Marl in a couple of posts already (the Airport and in-flight style and the Back to School Mums’ essentials) but finally, they are open to pre-orders. Delivery takes place next week and with so many stylish pieces to chose from, it might take the week to make up your mind!
Tiba + Marl is the brainchild of two new Mums Anna Gizzard and Lydia Barron, who could not find the perfect changing bag which allowed the parent to store everything they required for their precious little bundles whilst not losing all sense of style in the process. The end result is a core collection of well designed pieces to suit every type of Mum or Dad out there.
Georgie, Katie and Harriet went on a girls’ trip to the afternoon launch where we were able to decide which piece we would be ordering and making our wishlists for the future. The initial launch consists of backpacks, totes, weekend/gym bags and a satchel style bag in different materials and achingly cool prints. It is not style over substance though. Each bag comes with plenty of internal pockets for organising all the paraphernalia parenthood brings along – with insulated pockets, a changing mat and a separate zippered pouch which can be detached and used as a cross body mini bag.
Whilst at the launch we also got to see some ranges which would be launching towards Christmas and the New Year. These included backpacks for kids so you can co-ordinate or clash your style with your little one, bum bags (the black one with gold zip detailing was our favourite) and also a new print of comic book style motifs (Georgie has her eye on the weekend/gym bag in this print – a good motivation to make her go to the gym!).
