Held at the Vinyl Factory in the heart of London’s Soho, Dot to Dot London is a design-led tradeshow created to showcase independent children’s brands from Britain as well as overseas. Handpicked for being some of the best and most creative in the industry, the exhibitors featured include newly launched and upcoming brands as well as those in their relative infancy. We attended on Sunday and thought we would share some of our favourite brands and pieces from the day…
Dandy Star produce fun, quirky and unique contemporary kids clothes, interiors and wonderful gifts. Mixing colourful art with quirky typography this is a unisex brand that doesn’t fail to bring the fun into childrenswear and accessories. We featured their Love keyring in our recent Valentine’s Gifts for Kids post.
You know we love Tiba + Marl and both own and use our Elwood Backpacks regularly. Designers of contemporary trend inspired changing bags. The brand has expanded to now include mini backpacks for children, lunch bags, holdalls and bum bags – lots of fab designs are coming out too. Changing bags finally got cool is so right! Marloe London have taken the essential motherhood accessory, the muslin, and made it a beautiful and wearable fashion scarf which is soft and practical for babies too. A scarf swaddle that can be worn as shawl or a sarong and is designed to double up as a blanket, swaddle or pram cover. So unbelievably soft and luxurious to the touch.
We have been fans of The Bright Company for years and have featured them on a number of occasions (here, here and here). They are a unisex sleepwear and essentials brand producing bright colours and strong graphic prints for flourishing young personalities and their parents.
