Dot to Dot London Kids Tradeshow AW16

Held at the Vinyl Factory in the heart of London’s Soho, Dot to Dot London is a design-led tradeshow created to showcase independent children’s brands from Britain as well as overseas. Handpicked for being some of the best and most creative in the industry, the exhibitors featured include newly launched and upcoming brands as well as those in their relative infancy. We attended on Sunday and thought we would share some of our favourite brands and pieces from the day…

Dandy Star produce fun, quirky and unique contemporary kids clothes, interiors and wonderful gifts. Mixing colourful art with quirky typography this is a unisex brand that doesn’t fail to bring the fun into childrenswear and accessories. We featured their Love keyring in our recent Valentine’s Gifts for Kids post.

You know we love Tiba + Marl and both own and use our Elwood Backpacks regularly.  Designers of contemporary trend inspired changing bags. The brand has expanded to now include mini backpacks for children, lunch bags, holdalls and bum bags – lots of fab designs are coming out too. Changing bags finally got cool is so right! If you want to see more,we have featured them previously herehere and here.

Unisex bright, cheerful and colourful designs make up the Tootsa MacGinty brand. The fabrics, patterns and prints evoke fun and playfulness. We loved the new Northern Star pieces.

A new, fresh and extremely exciting British brand. Vibrant and bold colour palettes together with quirky, eye-catching and playful prints. With clever hidden animals designed into the patterns, these pieces are guaranteed to be loved by children.

Marloe London have taken the essential motherhood accessory, the muslin, and made it a beautiful and wearable fashion scarf which is soft and practical for babies too. A scarf swaddle that can be worn as shawl or a sarong and is designed to double up as a blanket, swaddle or pram cover. So unbelievably soft and luxurious to the touch.
